Anuhea Jenkins, the singer/songwriter from Maui, will be playing at the Kokua Festival this weekend at the Waikiki Shell on Oahu. She has an AMAZING voice and heartfelt lyrics inspiring to many 20-something year old ladies, as well as women of all ages…
She just stopped into the Noelani Designs Jewelry Studio for a visit to represent some of the latest jewels from the Noelani Designs Jewelry Closet…
and to drop off my ticket to the Kokua Festival!! YAYA!!! Thanks Anu!
She needed a replacement of her signature Anuhea earrings since she misplaced hers while recently on her music tour through the Northwestern United States.
The Anuhea earrings were designed especially for the singer. They are made of turquoise and sterling silver wire wrapped into an organic leaf shape. Turquoise is a healing stone, protecting the wearer from negative energy and bringing good fortune.
Anuhea is very happy about her upcoming performance at the Kokua Festival, alongside performers Jack Johnson, Ziggy Marley, Taj Mahal, and Jake Shimabukuro.
She was excited to pick out some new pieces for her wardrobe so she can finalize her outfit for the Kokua Festival. She happily chose the following:
The Asami earrings of coral, turquoise, and a freshwater pearl wrapped in 14k goldfilled wire. I wanted to make them extra big for her so they could have some stage presence, along with her powerful voice, so I pulled out my supplies and got to work, while we caught up on each others’ lives.
When I finished wrapping the wire and put down my pliers, she immediately put them on.
“I LOVE THEM!” she exclaimed when she checked in the mirror to see how beautiful she was with the earrings on.
She also chose the Jenna Necklace:
And I gave her a special gift of the Aloha Necklace…
The heart is carved out of mother of pearl shell which has been sustainably sourced from Tahitian pearl farmers. Usually the farmers discard the shell after they extract the pearl, but these shells are being RECYCLED!!
Yay for going green!
And when you turn the heart upside down, it looks like boobies! When you wear the necklace, wear it with the awareness of living a healthy lifestyle to prevent breast cancer. We are helping to prevent cancer, one set of breasts at a time!

Be sure to check out Anuhea this weekend at Kokua or you can buy her latest CD at Long’s Stores all over Hawaii.
