It has been a loooong time since I blogged. So much has happened in the past few months and I have been undergoing major lifestyle transitions (it’s a very good thing) so I haven’t spent much time on this blog. But one of my new years resolutions is to continue the blog so that I can always look back on past events and enjoy the early stages of Noelani Designs…cuz we are seriously about to go global. This is a big deal for my company, as it has always been a dream of mine to create a company that is catering to people all over the world. With my upcoming trip to Japan in April and my collaboration with Keep a Breast foundation and the Be Love Bus Tour this March, my company is about to get some serious press. I have been in the process of figuring out how to maintain current sales while building production and learning how to manage people, instead of being a one-woman company as I have been for the past 4 years. 2010 marks my 5th year in business, as I started it in August 2005, fresh out of college. Wow! It’s all happening, smoothly and I am definitely enjoying this flow!
Well I will get started with my recap of the past four months…
Thanksgiving at Vanessa and Joe’s house…
My lovely girlfriends got together, and of course, all the beautiful ladies were clad in cute dresses and Noelani Designs jewelry! Paul in the Lehua earrings, Vanessa in the Lody necklace, and Catherine just got her ears pierced…
Aukai enjoyed swinging in Auntie Catherine’s arms…

Aukai enjoyed being around all the ladies…
After Thanksgiving, Christmas came around quickly…with lots of Holiday Shopping events. The first weekend in December greeted me with three shows, back to back…starting with the Lanikai Craft Fair on Saturday at 7AM sharp:
and lots of returning customers, including hot mama herself, Kirstin, who bought herself a new pair of earrings. Since she was the first customer to purchase this new style of earring, these became the Kirstins! Beautiful pink coral chips dangle on 14k goldfill chain.
And a new customer, Kimberly in a new style:

After our successful day in Lanikai, we jetted to town to Brandi’s house for a ladies night of massage, jewelry shopping, appetizers, and pink cosmos!
Brandi and Kawehi were the hostesses with the mostessest! Since they hosted the party, they got 20% of sales in free jewelry of their choice, and their very own pink Noelani Designs caps!
After a short night’s rest, Jenna and I woke up early to head to Waimea Valley for our craft fair, where we had some returning customers and got to meet some very lovely people!
Jenna and I were exhausted from our previous day of work but we managed to come up with a beautiful display:
And we smiled all day despite our lack of sleep. Sleep is for old people anyway…
Jenna wore the Lody necklace and I wore the new Nani earrings.
Jenna and I got to relax in the grass in Waimea Valley in between customers. I taught Jenna how to make my signature leaf style and she did a great job. Girl is good with her fingers. I’m excited to have been able to teach someone else how to create my design, so now I can have help creating my pieces. My fingers will be happy once again!
More to come in the next blog…to continue through the month of December with a visit from my family from the east coast, and meeting Evangeline Lilly!
